According to a General Council of the Judiciary, the number of foreclosures in Spain increased just over 8% in the first nine months of 2010. In total there were 71,187 cases, three times around the year 2007. Only three regions, Valencia, Catalonia and Andalusia, gathered more than half of foreclosures. Where fewer were produced was in La Rioja, Cantabria and Navarra.
